Got Phill an appointment at the medical centre for 11am, seeing the same doctor we saw early this morning. He's young, but not too young, and Aussie and seems approachable, hope he stays so we can have one doctor instead of the dogs' breakfasts we've had in the past.
He gave him more anti nausea medicine and talked to us a bit more about the condition. Got his renewed cholesterol and BP meds as well, cost a fortune and I hope it's a wake up call for him re his lifestyle. He eats too much, drinks too much on occasion and doesn't get enough exercise.
Talked to the school principal and told him Em wasn't coming back to school. I feel they have really let us down, but even with extra support she wouldn't have made it. It is what it is.
We still don't have a landline phone connection or the internet. We were connected briefly but then disconnected, who knows what is going on. I am ringing them every day and hassling them until it gets sorted and they won't be charging us for the almost two weeks we've been without phone/net.
Tonight our neighbour, Val, came over to advise us on the bin nights etc. She is a retired midwife, probably in her 70s. She seems very nice and I hope we can be good neighbours. I think her husband is the Grim Sweeper so I may have to change his name. Or not.
Phill and I lay down and had a sleep this afternoon. Yep we're getting old, I never sleep in the day but I needed it and felt better for it. We ordered pizza tonight, but tomorrow it's back to cooking healthy meals.

Oh heck, this is SO what you don't need when you've just moved. Poor you, poor Phil. I hope that he feels much better soon.
I didn't realise that you'd taken Em out of school. The joys of being a mother eh?!
One of the things I dread when I move is getting things like internet and phone sorted. It always seems to take forever!
Hope you are all loving your new home and that you are all happy there. It looks great! I think it's so sweet how the landlord left you all those goodies
