To have the support and concern of my blogger mates and people I didn't expect it from. Phill got home at midday, and I was so glad to have him here. We rang the people we needed to to tell them of our plight, the real estate was really good, they know we're good tenants and they will get their money.
Val next door knocked late today with a loaf of bread and another cake. She already gave us half a fruit loaf and two dozen free range eggs from a friend in Stock. How can we repay kindness like that? We are so not used to it. Phill has two jobs lined up, one with another rail company and some part time work with the Mickey Mice. It will be tough for a while but we will get back on our feet again soon. I worry about the other families, so much, I wish there was some way we could be in touch, but not living in Junee anymore makes it hard, and a lot of them are in Victoria as well. I hope they all have a Val.
We put our ad online today for the boat. I am sad about selling it, but we've had some lovely memories in it and it's just a thing after all and the money from it will get us out of the shit. We didn't use it at all last Summer so it's just sitting there not being sailed.
So proud of my husband tonight, he always takes care of us, always has and always will. He might not be perfect (who is?) but he is solid, lying here next to me and will never leave me.
One of the blokes in Junee was a suicide risk. I wonder if Ray Evans, of El Zorro, ever thought about all the families he was screwing when he did what he did. I doubt it.
Oh and we can't go to Centrelink because we already have a debt due to El Zorro not taking enough tax out so we have a huge debt to them. The Federal Govt. has a scheme to help people in our situation but the company actually has to go bust and El Sorry hasn't done that yet for some reason, even though they have no staff and no work.

So is it okay with centrelink that people go hungry or lose their homes - surely they have room to bend - there are thousands of centrelinkers in POINT COOK and few were born here...
