Sarah turns 19

Funny old day yesterday.  Was Sarah's 19th birthday, and I wearily drove to Junee to pick up Phill from work at sparrowfart.  Nobody in the family remembers Sarah these days.  Phill says not to worry about it (he didn't even remember) but if it was someone else in the family who had lost a child I would be all over it, every single year, because when you lose a child, especially a baby, it means so much when people remember.  She only lived for 4 1/2 months but she lived, she was our little girl and will always be our daughter.  I am lucky that I had a visit from her recently, and Emily did too.  We both described her, independently, in the same way.  She is beautiful, has long hair, similar colour to Em's but curly, not as curly as Katy, just wavy.
I drove up to Young just to get away from the chaos and have some time to myself.  Got a couple of slice mats for the kitchen and a little plant.  Driving by myself relaxes me and it was a beautiful day, the paddocks are in various stages of being ready for planting, I love how the seasons go living in the country, as each year passes to see the progression of the crops is grounding, and comforting.
Our neighbours, Val and Brian are, well, neighbourly.  We aren't used to this.  As renters we are usually ignored by neighbours.  Val offered to give me cuttings for the garden, and this morning, while I was gone, brought over a cake!  Unheard of!  I love this stuff and will reciprocate for sure.
When I got home Phill wanted to go to the club so we did and got royally drunk.  Yep we did, not ashamed of it, we remembered the day our firstborn came into the world.  I miss her so much and am determined to hone my psychic abilities so we can communicate better.

Rest in peace Trish's own Angel Sarah - she is your Angel and will be there for you at the end - but not until you have lived fully all the years she did not get - in the dawn and the sunset she is there in the changing of the light...and she remembers the mother who carried her inside for nine months and held her in her life outside. Take care - she is not gone, just gone from our world - you will be with her one day in the fullness of time

I am so glad you got a visit. They really do help. Unless you have an Angel of your own, I think it is hard to understand how important those birthdays are to us. Validation that our Angel was once here, they were flesh and blood, and ours. (((hugs)))
