Phill left this morning for Victoria for a week's work. What a relief! Life now is peaceful and happy. He's down there with his little bum buddy, every time he goes away with this bloke he seems to change, it's weird.
Who cares, we have a week of freedom from bullying and I'll take it.
I had to take him to Junee this morning and on the way back one of the tyres on my car exploded and I nearly ran off the road in a very bad spot. I managed to pull the car over and nurse it into a relatively safer spot and tried to ring the NRMA. No service. I can change a tyre but I hate doing it, but I started emptying the boot of the car which was full of shit, to get to the spare tyre and jack when a lovely young tradesman pulled over and took over and changed it for me. I was so thankful.
Last night Emily had a sleepover at Sindy's place and when she finally got home today she had a present for me. I had given her money for going out yesterday and she spent it on ME. A gorgeous travel cup I have a photo but it's a pain in the bum to put it up here now that I can't use Picasa.
This is huge for me, after all the years we were at odds, the dramas and all that went with it. She has turned into the loveliest girl, still edgy still hilarious, but now kind and loving and thoughtful. And beautiful I still can't believe I made something that exquisite.
Well the dinner is done and dusted, pool clean, back garden watered, cats, dog and bird fed and ready for the night. I'm just going to kick back and watch tv and potter around on the net and go to bed when I'm good and bloody ready.
Yikes, hope he doesn't have a train accident or something. That would be terrible.
KIDDING. Or am I?
