Productive Day and Hopeful News on Emily

Finally got it uploaded!
Well photo upload isn't working, tried to add a photo of our new little dining set.  We ate our first meal on it tonight, I made meatloaf with mash, curly fries for Josh and broccoli and cauli.  Also put puree cauli and finely grated carrot in the meatloaf.  Josh needs to get back to healthy eating after all the upheaval of Kate's visit, although we cooked quite well most of the time, Emily's arrest and the moving.
We went to the old house today, so freezing, wind is coming off the snow.  We packed a lot of boxes and I cleaned the bathroom thoroughly, man I scrubbed that room within an inch of its life, she won't have anything to complain about but I'm sure she'll find something.  God that house is a dump, I don't know how we lived there for so long.  We worked steadily, and Phill went and got Josh at lunchtime and we left about three.  It was so good to come back here to a clean, tidy, warm and comfortable house.
We brought back the boxes and put them in the shed, so glad to have the double garage.  I can just bring them in and unpack them at my leisure and work out where to put everything.
Tomorrow I'll drop Josh at school and go back to the house and do some more packing. I reckon we threw away more stuff this move than we did even when we moved to Western Australia and we got rid of a LOT of stuff then.  All our crappy old furniture has either gone to the tip or is put aside for the Salvos, the garage at the old house is almost full.  I got rid of most of my pottery, I got it all second hand and it just wouldn't suit this place.  Someone else can enjoy it now.
Emily saw the youth psych today, spent an hour with her, not sure what went down, Phill spoke to his mother and sister.  She sees her again next week and they are trying to get her in to see a psychiatrist.
I have my own computer back!!!  Got the new screen today and Phill deftly installed it, I was amazed there wasn't more wrong with it given how hard she threw it.  Got a new battery too so I'm all set now.  I really missed having my own computer.
I'm tired and waffling now, we all need an early night, lots to do tomorrow.  Hope Blogger gets its act together soon so I can post pictures.

You have been going flat out.
Must be nice to finally enjoy the fruits of your labor after a tiring day.
Welcome back with us on your very own computer Trish. Glad it wasn't much worst.
Now if only Emily can be mended all would be good. :0) (((hugs)))
Seems I never comment on Josh.

Yay for the computer.
There is something rather wonderful about dumping stuff when moving. It can be so satisfying.
