Home at Last

It's weird, we have so much new stuff but this house feels so much like home to us already, on our very first night.  So glad we paid to have the big things moved.  The guys were so professional and fast, it cost us a lot less than we allowed for and everything was moved well and safely.
We moved some stuff by car, we had two as Phill still has the work car, then drove up to Young where Phill bought a brand new trailor.  He loves that thing so much, I kept catching him giving it loving looks.
It will be so handy when we buy furniture, take stuff to the tip and move!  Also Phill is hell bent on buying a boat so it will be used for that.
Then we went and got a cute little four seater dining setting. Phill put it together tonight and it's perfect in our dining room here.
Josh on his new beanbag with our big tv on the new tv unit in the family room.  He loves it, it's right off his bedroom.  Still have to put the bookcase together and fill up the pine wall unit that was in the kitchen in the old house.

The tv unit that came with the house as it was too big for them to move.  We got a new tv that fits it exactly.  Josh got the big tv we had in the loungeroom at the old house.
Loving our new leather lounge it's so comfy.  We have two recliners that match it. I think the red cushions and throws go well.
Josh's room with his new wood bedside table.  We have a kind of matching dresser that was left in the house and a wardrobe for him.

I swapped my cookbook bookcase for the little pine one that Chris made for Katy when she was a baby, out of my niece's collapsed pine bed (she married a fatty).
Laundry is nearly done.  Love having it inside now.
So we're warm and comfy in our new house, still so much to do bringing stuff over and then the cleaning.  Crazy Landlady is going to whinge no matter what but we'll do our best.
We need to get a wardrobe for our room asap, Em has the room with the built in.
She has an appointment on Wednesday with the youth mental health team.
This is where I'm headed very soon, I'm so tired.
Got our phone turned on today, talked to Amanda tonight.  Also got the internet on days before they said it would be. Yay!!  Now all I need is my new laptop screen, new batteries came today.

Well I've had some reading to do to catch up! Goodness! The photos of the new place are really nice, you must be so excited. Yay for the kittens, they sound darling. And oh my goodness what to do with EM?!? Good for you for calling the police, it was time for sure, but gosh I know you are frustrated that it means you just have to wait and see how it goes. Hang in there.

SO much happens in between my visits here! As you would notice, my posts have been few and far between... and as you appreciate, life just gets so busy that making a post in my blog diary is put on the back burner. Whenever you make a comment I am so pleased to see you are around. You inspire me to do quite a few things. You are such a good Mum and excellent cook! I wish I could be half as inventive as you are in that kitchen of yours!
I am so happy that your house move went swell. I hope that you find some nice local people and that the community is welcoming of you all.
Sending you and Em some loving supportiv angels to guide you through the rough waters and come out on a calmer tide xoxo
