Digging Herself Deeper

Found a thread on a vile Facebook page made by an "anonymous" teenager, typical of many pages springing up around the country where nasty teens can villify each other.  Emily was in full flight, there was lots of foul language and threats of violence between her and a couple of others.  Her cousin saw it and reported it.  The local police have already had one of these local pages shut down, and I am not sure if they know about this one but they will today no doubt and if they get wind of Emily's involvement she'll be in even more trouble.  How hard is it to keep her off the freaking internet down there?  It's looking more and more unlikely that she will come home, even Phill said it yesterday.  She's way out of control and it's only a matter of time before she causes drama down there, she is getting little help at all with her problems and what help she is getting is very slow and cumbersome.
On a more positive note, after a late start yesterday we managed to get a lot done in the old house.  I finished emptying the kitchen and got all the cupboards cleaned.  Phill washed down the walls and fixed holes and painted and vaccumed the whole house and the carpet isn't as bad as I thought it would be although there are burn marks where Phill tried to shove a too big log of wood into the fire and left it hanging out that we'll have to pay compensation for.  Isn't it funny that the most critical people are often the ones who make the biggest blunders themselves?
I came home and got changed and picked up Josh and we went down and got haircuts.  A different girl did mine and she cut it exactly how I like it, it's really short and feels so much better.  Josh's hair looks really good too, the young apprentice did a lovely job, left it longish as is the fashion, but kind of layered it in at the back so it isn't so thick.  It's nice to walk in there and they all know us by name and have a good chat with them.  I told them the latest instalment with Emily and they were all supportive and sympathetic.
Came home and made Crying Tiger, which turned out really well.  I put some Thai basil in the salad and it really made a difference.
There is nothing I can do right now about Emily, even if was so inclined so I'm going to focus on the positives in my life.
Back to the house today, and hopefully we'll get the inside finished ahead of the carpet guy coming and can start on the outside and the yard.

She hasn't contacted me again and if she did... again I will say, no problem.
