More of the Same....And yet Not

Emily again refused to go to school today.  She went to the school social and came home very upset as her "boyfriend" had "cheated" on her.  Now we never see any boys it would seem all these so called relationships are conducted on the internet, more specifically on Facebook.  We never know what the real story is with her as she lies so much.  Phill got very angry and was about to cancel his trip back up north which would have seriously impacted on his job.  Something in me changed.  I am so sick of her causing all this anger and upheaval in our family.  I told him there was nothing he could do, she promised him when he went and got her from DOCS that she would attend school if she came home.  I knew she wouldn't.  I wasn't going to allow myself to get angry or upset again over this.  I truly believe we have done everything we can possibly do, asked for help from every possible agency all to no avail.  There is nothing more we can do and if she's going to go down a bad path she won't be taking us with her.  I felt a sense of relief and freedom once I let it all go.  Phill left and I happily got in and cleaned the house from top to bottom and put dinner in the slow cooker.  Josh is getting very upset with all the fighting and it's really affecting him, so no more.  I will do everything I can to create a calm and ordered home for us all and Emily can sit in her room.  I think she will get awful sick of doing that every day.
Phill is going to continue to look for a house for us up there in between working.  I'm not even going to think about that until I have to.
I spoke to a tenants' advocate yesterday and she gave me some good advice.  A letter has been faxed to this website and we have a copy of that.  As soon as our name is removed I will begin the complaint process.
Phill had to take our car so I'll be without wheels for a week or so which should be interesting.  We might all get a bit fitter from walking with any luck.

(((HUGS))) A calm environment sounds like a great plan. I honestly don't know what I would do in your situation, boarding school sounds promising though. LOL

Today my boy sat down at 11am to start his math and after 4 hours he is finally done. Frustration, arguments, but dad finally putting his foot down, saw 100% co-operation. Have to admit I never would have made him sit there that long. But maybe tomorrow he will do as he is asked. KIDS!!!!
