I know the kids missed yet more school, only two days as today was the athletic carnival, but it was so, so worth it. We were able to regroup, reconnect, relax and just have some fun as a family. I feel so much better and more relaxed in spite of the long, long drive home. I love driving and it was God's own country all the way home, we're so lucky to live in country Australia. I had a lot of time to think and to process a lot of stuff. Phill and I are back on track, I have realised how much I love and appreciate him, I don't know what the fuck is wrong with me sometimes. He's not perfect, who is? But he loves us and takes care of us and protects us and I can be such a bitch.
And if Kim is prepared to work for us re feeding the animals, we paid her generously I think, we can have longer breaks away, which will be nice. We're already planning more trips, to Dubbo and the Western Plains Zoo, to the Elvis Museum in Parkes and across to the coast. NOT to Mum's though.
Now to bore you with all the photos I couldn't upload in Tamworth.
Emmy by the pool.
Dodgem!
Weirdos bringing their swimmers in from the line for yet another swim.
Bowling! (Gutter ball).
Emmy has a go, she was really good.
Cocktail and Mocktail (the waitress spilled them a bit)
I got quite a few of these.
And a couple of these.
Our bbq burgers in the little tree covered grotto by the pool.

What a fun trip. Looking at the pics without my glasses, I first thought the "Dodge 'em" photo (2nd one) was a shoe. Then I put my glasses on and realized it was a bumper car.

Many more gr8 getaways for you all.
You guys seem to have such a good time when on trips - and i remember how much talking we all did when we travelled anywhere - has to be good
