Well mine are all in a row now. Spent all day yesterday working in the house and got everything clean and up to date, at last! I even cleaned the dishwasher and microwave. Amazing. It rained solidly all day which was lovely. The biggest pumpkin is growing really fast up there and we actually got some figs off the tree before the birds got to them.
Last night I did chicken in panko crumbs. I cut chicken breast fillets horizontally and marinated them in some soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil and some Chinese cooking wine. Later I patted them dry and coated them with the panko and cooked them in the oven on a tray. I think I would pan fry them next time. They tasted great but didn't brown very much even though I sprayed them with oil. We had them with pasta in butter and soy sauce, Japanese style according to the net, and vegies of course.
Sausages tonight, I have a hankering for them with onion gravy and mash. Phill is going to make curried sausages. Wonder what the kids will choose?

Can still remember that self satisfaction feeling when I did accomplish alot in my younger days though. :0)
