I really didn't want him to go today. We had a tiff this morning. He kept me awake with his snoring, in spite of his nose strips and I ended up sleeping on the lounge. He was fine with that, didn't offer to swap and then got pissed off with ME for sleeping out there. We ended up going out for lunch at the club and had a really nice afternoon, he kept putting off leaving even though he had a seven hour drive in front of him. He's gone now for a couple of weeks and I'll be okay, don't have to like it though. At least I'll get some sleep in my own bed. Without my own husband.
We had a nice weekend, sat outside both afternoons with wine and nibbles. We finally got our pizza stone replaced, I broke it in Junee so we made homemade pizza for dinner last night which was fun.
I'm still chuckling at Yellowdog Granny's post title for today. Can't wait to read it.
Can you believe we still don't have an election result in spite of it being held nine days ago? I hope the Queen lives till she's at least 100 but I also hope that when she goes we can finally grow up and become a republic. We have the same basic parliamentary system as the UK which goes back hundreds of years and it just doesn't work anymore. Bob Katter is a nutter, there I said it. I heard Steve Vizard compare him to Yosemite Sam.
I miss him already. Phill, not Yosemite.

it terrible you don't know who's in charge yet...you don't know who to be mad at..ha
I confess to using your blog as my News source. We never watch TV News or read newspapers. (Blissfully ignorant)
I love your opinion on things. I agree that Hoges is a loser, just another bloody Skase.
In my mind it doesn't make much different who is running the country, they are all as bad as eachother, at least no one is stuffing around in there while we don't have a leader.
I confess I am one of those green voters. I figure if we don't have a planet, what does it matter.
My husband snores too, once I complained to a friend and she said. "Wish I had my husband snoring next to me at night" hers died of cancer. I've stopped complaining now. But can sympathise with you.
I live in Rob Oakeshott's seat of Lyne - and hope and pray we go to another election soon er rather than later - he doesn't know if he's Arthur or Martha re making any decisions and no one will know which way he and Windsor will jump which will make the country ungovernable - they will have to have another election soo but when is the question
