Kitten Massage

He was really knotted up.
After that he was ready for some aerial catnastics.
We went out and shot some hoops this afternoon.  It's really fun.  Lucky there's no photo of me as I was bra-less and wearing my slippies.  (Sorry for that visual).  The kids are still out there at almost 6pm.  Love it.
Getting pizza tonight.  I am so glad it's Friday.  Sleep ins, no school battle, easy day tomorrow.  Bit of shopping, up to the kids' old primary school to vote and a beef curry for dinner.  Phill has been delayed in Wollongong at work but he's got the last laugh as he's being paid $45 an hour for sitting around in a luxury hotel.  I don't know how these rail companies stay in business, they couldn't organise a p*ss up in a brewery I'm sure.
Josh didn't have such a great day at school today but wasn't going to bail because he knew what my reaction would be.  They must think I'm an awful mother up at the school but I don't care.  I told him I was proud of him for sticking it out and I had lamingtons for afternoon tea for them as a treat when they got home.  He wasn't too sick to scoff a couple of those and then go out and shoot hoops.  Karisma's comment on my earlier post was so reassuring (thank you!) and I did a bit of research and this type of behaviour is indeed normal for boys of that age.  Swampy's comment wasn't so comforting. ;)  But better to be prepared.  And to be honest I also have problems with my adult kids.
In fact, my own mother is 83 and until recently I was a problem child to her as well.  We don't tell her our problems anymore and I wonder if she knows that and wishes we did?  I must ask her, because I know she'll tell me.  I'm going to go and ring her up now actually.

Good luck with that phone call! Your mum sounds like me! I tend to say what I think too!

I LOVE the kitten pictures! AWESOME! Looks like I have a cat now too! hehe! Kinda moved in on me and took over! My bed and all, can't believe the man has not turfed him out, he is not the animal lover I am. Seems to like the cat though! Hmmmm!

I am so jealous that you had pizza, I totally slaved in the kitchen after entertaining all day. Made Lentil Mousakka, rice, baked potatoes and sweet potatoes, rice pilaf and salad. (lots of variety for fussy folks).

K, the phone call with mum went really well actually, every so often she surprises me and I had a whinge to her without even thinking in the end and she was cool with it.
Your cooking sounds so good!
Is that the cat that the neighbours left?

I am braless quite often and went to Home Depot in my slippers just yesterday. I was the thorn in my mother's side....a big thorn.
