Cold and Wet

That's the view from my desk across to the park.  Cold and grey and wet.  The house is warm and cosy though, and I am finally getting it to how I want it.  The kids both have sleepout type rooms off their bedrooms and they have put their tvs and game consoles out there but have been using their desk chairs to sit on.  I saw Josh's little black chair sitting there forlornly this morning and grabbed Phill and we went down to the Op Shop and found two blue fabric armchairs for $35 for both of them!  They are good quality chairs and in pretty good nick and so comfy.  Josh was ecstatic when he got home at lunchtime and has settled in with the crochet rug I made him over his knees happily playing something or other.
His room is looking a lot cosier now, he just needs more stuff on his walls.
Cats didn't waste any time trying it out.  At least it's keeping Scout off the pool table.

Bedrooms with a "sitting room." I'd die for that!
Never have I seen a floor plan like that.
You have worked "wonders" in such a short time Trish. Very nice.
(((hugs)))
