Sick, Summer and the Christmas Tree

After several weeks of probably not giving my husband and son enough sympathy with their bugs, I woke up with it myself this morning, and so did Emily.  It's a horrible thing, I felt awful all day, it's a cold but worse somehow, not flu, just a horrible respiratory bug thingie.
Today is the first day of Summer and it's not mucking around, the temps have shot right up into the late 30s.  So weird to have a bad cold in Summer but it's usually when I get them for some reason.
We always put our Christmas tree up on December 1st and Josh was so keen.  Em went out with Sindy and I told her to be back in time to do the decorations, but she wasn't overly interested, and that's okay.  Josh put up the tree, Phill did the lights and I put on the decorations and it was nice.  I am so grateful to have my family when I know a lot of people spend Christmas alone.  I have done so in the past and it's not fun.
Okay that's new, I just tried to upload the photos I took today and was told I was out of space!  Since when?  I'll try again tomorrow and if that is the case I'll just open a new blog.  I've been able to put loads of photos on my blogs for years without any trouble.  I know a couple of my fellow bloggers have been having trouble with their sites so perhaps that's it.  And I just decorated for Christmas!  More tomorrow.
Yay for Photobucket!!!
