A Day In the Life...

I woke up to a beautiful Sunday Spring morning.....

Had a healthy breakfast.
Put on the walking shoes and we set off for a brisk walk.
(That's our house)
Along Muttama Creek
Up Parker Street towards the town.
Past our magnificent court house.
The Ex Servo's where we've whiled away many a happy afternoon.
Only in a country town could a Chinese restaurant have the same name as a French institution!
We walked on past the Post Office.
We were going to get the Sunday papers at the corner shop but the seven day a week business was closed (must open twice on Saturdays)
Home again...
We had dandelion tea and toast out the back and read the papers (after Phill drove back down town and got them)

Then we went to the supermarket.
I had lunch
We potted some flower seedlings with the help of our friendly magpie Errol, he visits us every day.
I made a Weet Bix slice for Josh to take to school (see cooking blog)
Then we made homemade pizza.  I had pumpkin, sage, mushrooms, capsicum, olives and anchovies on mine with fresh avocado and it was the best pizza I've ever had.

We also planted another chilli plant and some radishes.  We ripped the tangled old garden out by the fence and put a tomato plant and some beans in there.  A lovely Sunday, things still aren't good between us, maybe they never will be again, but we're finding a way to co-exist.  For now.  I'm feeling stronger and stronger, both physically and mentally, every day.  Good things ahead for me, and for the kids, I can feel it.

U betcha!
Life stands still for no one.

Oh my...already you can plant vegetables. ??? Isn't it still winter there? Our Spring arrives March 21st and we can't plant tomatoes until the end of July.
We are heading into winter and I am dreading it. Outdoor activities (unless it is shoveling snow) are curtailed. :0(
More healthy, sane days to you Trish.
THX for sharing your pictures.(((hugs)))Pat
