If the Cabin's Rocking, Don't bother Knocking

We made good time on our trip to the south coast this morning and got here about midday.  Phill and the kids wasted no time in getting the boat in the water and heading off in search of our dinner.  They had no luck although they saw fish being caught so they're definitely out there.  Normally the first day is spent travelling so they were lucky to get any fishing time at all, and the weather was just perfect today.  I stayed behind and got the cabin organised and unpacked.  It's a  nice little cabin and you couldn't get any closer to the lake, the boat is tied up right out the front.
It's a small town and it's Sunday so we couldn't get anything to cook for dinner so we ended up just getting takeaway fish and chips which was nice.
The kids went to the games room and Phill and I were sitting on the verandah marvelling at the beauty of the sunset over the lake when suddenly a huge wind whipped up and we had to gather everything and retreat inside and close all the windows.  The cabin was actually rocking and the boat was even worse, we keep going outside to make sure she isn't swamped.  It's still howling but I think it's starting to settle down a bit.
I got some beautiful photos today but Blogger won't let me upload tonight on this connection so it will have to wait.
We are sooo glad we came down here, can't understand why it was so inexpensive and why there aren't more people here.
Tomorrow they are going fishing in the morning and then we will drive up to Moruya to get some groceries and hopefully some fresh seafood for dinner and the kids want to go to the beach.  We drove around the coast on the way to get dinner and we are sure we saw a whale.  The beaches are magnificent here, the water in the sea looked turquoise today.
