Ouch!

I have some serious pain happening in my rib cage.  I did some Google doctoring and think it's an inflammation of the cartilage, that's what it feels like and I have a memory of having something similar years ago before Katy was born.  I will rest a bit today and luckily Phill got me some pain tablets before he took the car last night.  I don't have any Ibuprofen but I looked up anti-inflammatory foods and I have lots of those!  Blueberries, salmon, green tea, broccoli all things I love and eat anyway.

In spite of that I had a great night's sleep, from 10.30 to about 7am (Phill is in Melbourne again).  It only seems to hurt when I'm upright and moving about.

I made up a lovely Chicken and Mushroom crepe recipe last night (it's on the food blog) and I am really happy with how it turned out.  I am getting more and more confident at making up my own recipes.

I was going to pull everything out of the vegie garden bar the herbs today.  The tomatoes that sprung from the compost bin have taken over and aren't producing any decent fruit now.  I think I'll just make it a herb garden, easier to manage and I use fresh herbs almost every day.  I already have Thai basil, rosemary and parsley (under the tomatoes somewhere).  I want some more parsley, basil and coriander.  I still might do it, the tomatoes will come out easily now the ground is soft from the rain, and it's so messy up there it's really bugging me.

Well it's a beautiful day, and I'm going to enjoy the sunshine.  Gingerly.

Soon as the rain stops and it warms up again, I'm planting my herbs and flowers.
