A New Week

I got ready for my walk yesterday morning, and although we hadn't exchanged a word since rising, I asked Phill to come with me and he agreed.  There's no point in carrying on unpleasantness, it doesn't achieve anything and just makes us all miserable.  And I can walk a lot further with him with me!  We did a good long walk, had another look at the new house and walked up the back lane and through a few other lanes, took us about an hour all up and that's what he says we should always aim for.  When I'm on my own I get bored and only do about 30 minutes.  Coming home up our hill is a great end to the walk but yesterday he suggested walking to the very top of our street, and the hill, and we did. 
We went shopping and saw some lovely fresh looking marinara (seafood) mix.  It wasn't fresh, or not  all of it anyway, but it looked good.  We got a kilo of that and a kilo of green prawns and I made a lovely marinara sauce then we put half the seafood in that for us, with some SlimPasta and used the other half to make Mountain Bread pizzas for the kids in the pizza maker.  Low fat and they loved them.  Our sauce was good too.  I had a few wines last night, I bought the WW approved low alcohol (25% less) that is three points for 150ml.  It was okay, but I could have lived without it and had a sandwich for the points I used.  I used some of my weeklies but I wouldn't do it too often, it's not worth it.  Perhaps for a special occasion? 
So it's a new week, phone ringing this morning trying to track down Emily's first package of school work.  The new high school rang to say it had been sent to the local school but of course they don't have it.  This is becoming ridiculous now.  I will wait till after today's mail and then contact the new school to have them send a new pack to us.
I am getting my new Iphone this week!  My old phone has had it, it was a cheapie, and I love Emily's, it does so much and when I mentioned to Phill that I'd like one he rang our phone company and has had it added to our phone/internet bundle.  What fun!
And our tv just got here from being repaired.  I can exercise at home again thank goodness.
So now we're counting down the days till we go away, we're all so excited.  Looks like the weather will be okay but I don't even care about that, it will just be so good to get away and see the family.

This is a video Em made of the kittens.  We've found homes already for two of them, and we know the people who want them, they are local business people who are well known here and I know they will give them a good home.  Still three weeks away from being ready to leave their mum but we only have to find homes for the other two and that won't be hard at all.
