The weather is just so lovely right now, it's the last few weeks of our Summer and while it's still warm, the skies are cloudless and we have fresh cool breezes blowing up the hill.
Emily walked downtown today, she is so bored poor thing,until her school work starts coming through. I had to go down to the supermarket and met her there and she told me that one of the girls who had assaulted her earlier had done so again, pushed Em and called her names. Said girl was in her school uniform, in school time. We were in the supermarket when she told me and I immediately phoned the school and told the principal what had happened. By the time we got home he'd rang Phill, who knew nothing about it, so I rang him back and told him the same story (I think it's time for this principal to hang up his chalkboard, just quietly). He suggested I tell the police and I disagreed since the last time we told them of assault allegations it did little more than waste our time. She was in school uniform in school time and it's his responsibility. This little skank is well known to the cops, they told us as much. She should have been expelled long ago and I'd love to know why she hasn't been. Anyway, we don't have to worry about it so much these days, but Em should be able to walk the streets here and be safe and I'll keep complaining about these dirty little thugs until she can.

Doesn't this school principal have a Higher Up person that she/he has to answer to???
Damnit, I'd find out and let them know that he/she is NOT DOING THEIR JOB.
No one should have to be accosted, let alone by someone that the government pays the school for each day a student is in school with YOUR TAXES and THIS TROUBLE MAKER should have been in school !
That principal can be replaced and SHOULD BE for not doing his/her job.

Good luck with the new blog. Can you tell me what has changed and how to get around it. When I tried to delete a blog from my list - the blog isnot operational any longer - there is no little widgit neat the lists of blog names to click on which used to open up all the blog names for editing...how do you go about it now?
