A Lovely Dinner Visit

We all slept well last night after such a busy day.  We decided we'd go up to Ali and Matt's place, just a short drive from here, for dinner. We had beautiful oven baked barramundi with a delicious salsa of mango, red onion, avocado and capsicum.  I made a little Greek salad.  It was nice but strange (for me)to be working in the kitchen with my Ali.  I hope we have many more times like this together.

Once again, Emily and Josh spent time with little Harvey, they love him so much and are so good with him, especially Emily, she seems to have infinite patience, and Harvey loves them back.

We left as early as we could but I think we outstayed our time a bit as it was past Harvey's bedtime.  It felt so nice being in my daughter's home and they are such great parents.

We drove home and the possum was above his sleeping place and posed for photos, Em has them on her phone, before scurrying off for the night.  It's raining now, quite hard so I don't know what he's doing now.

Not long after we got back my oldest sister rang to see if we could meet her tomorrow before we leave Sydney for home to collect these "diaries" she has for me.  Phill said we'd just go straight over to her place (Lord give me strength) before we went home.  So that will be nice, to see her again and to find out what these diaries are all about. 

It's early Sunday now and it's pissing down rain outside.  Josh is sleeping on the couch for some reason.  I'm off to put in my ear plugs.
