My brandy butter, first time in years I've made it.
We opened our Christmas pjs on Christmas Eve. Doh!
Sham WOW! Our present from the kids. It's a long story....
"Santa's" response to the midly abusive notes left out for him by the children.
This is what my babies gave me, they know I love this schmaltzy stuff.
Harley Rose got chips in her stocking, she LOVES chips.
The Christmas Treasure Hunt was fun with a bit of a twist at the end.
Spoiled much?
Guess what I got? I LOVE it.
We were going to eat outside but when we took our breakfast out there the flies were horrible so we had our Christmas Dinner at our little table, the first time in ten years we haven't had it at our big pine table and chairs.
We had turkey, prawns and lobster with a potato salad and an Avocado, Bacon and mango salad. I had a dummy spit on Christmas Eve when Woolies didn't have any fresh prawns. I mean really, how hard is it to get them in once a year? I calmed down and bought frozen and made a cocktail sauce and we had that over some lettuce and it was okay.
Living in a country town sucks sometimes.
The kids are thrilled with their presents and the nice thing was how much they enjoyed the simpler things. Their treasure hunt gave them totem tennis which they loved and a waffle maker. Josh loves waffles so that was a nice surprise for him. I found some batter recipes online and they made waffles for breakfast this morning, Boxing Day and even had some more this evening.
Today we just foraged, but we made some really nice fresh spring rolls with crabmeat, vermicelli, mint, coriander, cucumber and avocado and I made a great dipping sauce.
Emmy made most of them.
And this is how Christmas ended up for Phill.
I hope everyone had as much fun and joy at Christmas as we did. Especially Phill. zzzzzzzzzzzzz hic.

You are so good about taking pictures! And cooking! I use to like to cook but now not so much, I do it because those kids of mine expect me to feed them, the brats! I'm so glad you had a happy day, you deserve it more than any one I know.
I see....Phill has a SENSE OF HUMOR! ;0)
