This Country Girl Drives

When I lived in a city of course I couldn't imagine having to drive long distances to get what I needed, it was all there, a short car, train, bus ride, or even walk away.
I have been taking the above supplement on and off for a year or so.  With the last two lots I noticed a big difference in my symptoms, but even then I put it down to other stuff, eating better, not drinking alcohol etc.  Recently when I ran out however, within days I noticed my symptoms returning, night sweats, feeling down, waking up in a panic attack for no apparent reason.  I cannot get these tablets here in town or in Young from what I've seen.  I took Josh halfway to school this morning before realising he was sick with a stomach bug thingie but he didn't want to tell me because of all the Emily stuff, bless him.  I brought him back home and put him back to bed and drove the 200km round trip to Wagga just to buy two packs of these herbal pills.  The last thing I need is to be at the mercy of my hormones right now and if these things help, and they do, big time, I have to have them.  I did stop in Junee, reluctantly, and try the chemist there but they didn't have them.  So I just drove, parked the car, raced into Coles, got the goods and came home. Going to buy them online from now on, but for now I have two months supply.  We weren't sure whether Em's therapy appointment was for 12 or 1 so I had to get home before midday and I almost made it.  Luckily it was 1pm.  Then we went to group which I really enjoyed, it's getting more intense now and I'm nailing it.  I just hope Em is getting as much out of it.
Phill is coming home Saturday and when he told me that my heart sank.  There is nothing I can do about the problems for now, I just have to somehow make the best of it.  A couple of phone chats with him while he's been away, and sober, has let me see the old Phill, the charming, witty, intelligent man I fell in love with.  None of us are lovely all the time, I certainly am not, but what turns him into a blithering idiot I wonder?  And even that wouldn't be so bad if he didn't make such stupid choices as he has been lately such as gambling and some crazy suggestions he's made.  Ah well, it's a challenge, always good to have one of those.
That long drive was good for me too, I need my time alone and if it has to be in a car it's better than nothing.

Maybe Phil should be on your pills too. Is the male menopause a myth? I wonder.

Despite everything you are still seeing the positives, which is so hard to do. Good for you

In years past I was never so happy as to pull into McDonalds with a good BOOK , go through the drive thru to order and sit in the peace and quiet at the end of the parkinglot away from everyone and eat and read.
No interruptions and no cell phone back then ( which I'd leave OFF )if I did it now.
ALONE TIME IS VERY IMPORTANT in my book anyway!
Can't leave without saying.... SOME MEN are like boys that never grew up. The ones I knew personally anyway. ;0)
If they had a brain in their head, they'd be DANGEROUS!

(((hugs)))
