Phill got three fish yesterday not sure what they are he couldn't remember the name. We put them in the little concrete pond.
It has a fountain and sounds lovely. But this morning we found it was leaking. Phill went down and got some plastic to line it, I just hope it doesn't turn into the West Aussie goldfish debacle. We got pond liner from the SAME PLACE WE BOUGHT THE FISH and the fish all died within minutes of putting them in the pond we had in Northam. Wouldn't you think the shop would have known? We never tried to replace them, just enjoyed our pond the lights Phill put around it in the little fernery out by the outside patio there.
I got my wrap around valance for our bed and it finishes it off perfectly, that and the new grey boomerang pillow cases that I had order and picked up today.
I love it, it goes perfectly.
We got steak, fillet and a thick piece or bone in rib eye, some sausages and a little rack of lamb. I marinated the fillet in soy sauce, ketchup, red wine, garlic and olive oil. I'll make a little Asian salad and a packet of bought salad and we'll eat out here, cold though it is. Max had dragged his old mattress and his little polar fleece blanket out into the yard and we had a mighty frost overnight and they sat in a frozen pile this morning. He is loving his heated mattress, he must be so much more comfortable. Hasn't tried to drag it out of his hut at all yet.
Phill is still determined to get his boat and I have to admit it would be fun, he is vowing to not go away so much and has told his boss he will only go away for specific training jobs not for weeks at a time to just do train driving. I hope he is true to his word, I need him and the kids need him.
Just got off the phone with my sister who I had to tell the whole Emily saga to. The sun is belting down at just after 4pm, it's lovely you wouldn't know it was Winter.
Time to make salads.

I love,love,love your bedroom.
Unlike mine.....yours is the way a bedroom should look. A place TO REST and SLEEP!
