Shopping Trip and off for a Pickanick

Our outdoor area, it's lovely, we'll have our table and chairs and our bbq out there, and get a patio heater and string up our fairy lights.  There is also a cement pond type thingy with a pump.
The double garage which is accessed from the back lane.  There is a big water tank behind the shrubs which we think is hooked up to the reticulation for the gardens.  Yay free water!!!
The kids played Monopoly on our bed last night.
Katy and Josh love each other a lot, he's really going to miss her.  See the horrible grubby couch?  We're taking them to the tip and buying new ones.

Well we were all pretty shellshocked on Friday night but the more we talked (Phill, Kate and I) the more we were convinced that Em had no intention of going through with it.  We think she was listening for the car to pull into the driveway and got up on the chair knowing we'd come looking for her.  Like Kate said, if she was serious why leave the note on the counter?  But what if she'd tripped?  Phill checked the cord and said it wouldn't have worked as it was way too long anyway.  She is acting like nothing happened and we went to Wagga yesterday.  It was a looooong trip.  I sat in the back with the Ferals as Kate is taller than me.  God I feel sorry for those kids, what a rough ride it is back there.  And the three of us cramped in together. We got a new tv for the bedroom, the one we had was an old heavy one and had no remote.  Kate got a really nice black jacket heavily marked down so she was happy.
I had put Lamb Goulash in the slow cooker so dinner was ready when we got home.  I make it with lamb shanks, and it has tinned tomatoes, red capsicum, onion, potatoes, tomato paste, paprika and caraway seeds.  It's a Weight Watchers recipe but you wouldn't know it.  I hadn't done it in the slow cooker before and made the mistake of adding water which I didn't need to do.
So today we're off to Temora for a picnic and maybe some shrimping and fishing.  We're taking our "new" little bbq which we haven't tried out yet.
The Lemon Meringue pie Kate made the other night.
Noah loves Katy's little bedroom nook.
Love the polished floors, and we get to keep the tv unit.  Josh's room is on the right and the dining room on the left, the kitchen runs off one side of that and the family room off the other.

My tongue is hanging out for s piece of that lemon pie and my eyes are bulging out looking at that beautiful home you will soon be living in. :0)
I'm with the three of you about Emily crying 'Wolf", but it is a cry for help. Unfortunately us parents are untrained in this field. sigh!
P.S. Your Kate is beautiful and I can see a lady killer in Josh when he is older. That boy is going to be a handsome man before we both know it.
(((hugs)))
