It's All Good.....Except

It's so nice waking up and WANTING to start the day, not the stomach churning that has been my life up till now.  I mentioned it to Josh this evening and he was like "me too!" worrying about what fights would eventuate today.
So we got him to school and Phill took a load of our stuff to the Salvos who took the lot and were very thankful for it.  He didn't come back for ages so I had a shower and did the normal things in the house, but couldn't unpack any boxes as they're all in the shed and I had no trolley to bring them down here.  I just pottered about and did bits and pieces.
He finally came back and we unpacked the trailer.  Then the lady next door called to me over the fence.  YES FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURS AT LAST!  She is 80 but doesn't look/sound it, and is happy to have us as her neighbours, we have exchanged phone numbers and she also gave her son's as she and her hubby are going away soon.  Most of our near neighbours are elderly it seems and go away a lot to visit family etc.
Phill got back from doing stuff at the old house and said "bugger it let's go to the club for lunch" and so we did.  While there the furniture guys rang to say they were at the house with the wardrobe and the bedsides, they were supposed to give us fair warning.  Phill raced down and came back quite quickly.  So glad to have our gorgeous new wardrobe and bedside tables.  Our bedroom looks really great now.
Emily is still causing trouble and the Percys down there are encouraging it, it would seem.
We had salmon tails with curly fries and salad for dinner, even had dessert, Phill and I had an apple/rhubarb crumble (bought) and Josh had a bought chocolate saucey microwave pudding thingie.
I got some really good Jason place mats and some cool coasters with trains on them, Phill can name each loco.
Glad it's Saturday tomorrow, Josh and I can sleep in and Phill is going down to Albury to see Emily and check out the family etc.  I will have no car for both Saturday and Sunday thank goodness so don't have to front up at the horrible old house, but will just put my head down and unpack and throw out. Great to have the trailer as I think we'll have a lot of stuff to chuck.  I have held on to so much rubbish that I don't use and don't need.  It's all about being minimalist.
