More Drama

I won't go into details although I did last night but didn't post it.  It involved threats, much weeping and wailing and ended in lots of police and DOCS and she came dangerously close to being shipped off to a group home in Wagga until her father caved. DOCS woman changed her story between talking to me and then talking to Phill.  In the end they said there was no room for her at the group home, but I don't think that was the case, they were very reluctant to send her there.  I think a few days there would have done her good and shaken her up a bit. Phill's reaction to the whole thing was astounding.  He broke down and cried as we talked to the police.  Then after she was taken away cried most of the day.    I have only ever seen him cry (sober) on the day we found our Sarah dead in her cot.  I don't know what's up with him whether he has finally realised his contribution to the problem,  which is his willingness, when it's not absolutely necessary, to work away for long periods, and not spending quality time with the kids when he is home, or if he's cracking up under this constant stresss of the situation with Emily.  He went into her room and cleaned it and made her bed which was odd as well.
Anyway she was suitably scared and now we are apparently "in the system" with DOCS and they are saying they will help get her assessed.  Heard it all before and whether or not they do this I am going to get a referral from the GP to have her assessed myself as I am starting to think she might be bipolar.  They said that is what I was when I had all my problems in my 20s although I was never properly diagnosed, and used medication for twenty or so years on and off.  I also believe my father may have been also and there is a genetic link.  I did some research yesterday and all of the symptoms of adolescent bipolar fit her to a T. I have been reluctant to admit this to myself because of the way I was labelled all my life.  She got up and went to school cheerfully and I told her I was so proud of her for facing up to that.  We never got to the reason that she won't go to school except she "doesn't like it".  Most kids don't but it's just something that has to be done.
I feel shaky and anxious today.  She made a really horrible threat towards me yesterday and I can't get it out of my head.  I'm constantly stressed only relieved by exhausted sleep only to have it start again the minute I wake up.
I'm going to drive to Young in this beautiful Autumn sunshine, driving through the country always helps me.

Fpxymoron, if you can find someone to do this have her B6 and Zinc levels checked...people who have this swing behaviour can sometimes be very deficient in this area - most if us just get over it but some people just don't process these and it causes over emotionalism and swinging ups and downs.
There are laboraties in australia which test and can be found in the web page next
