Me: I can't breathe through my nose.
Him: You just go like this (demonstrates slightly dramatically).
Me: I know HOW to do it but my nose is blocked.
Much muffled laughter ensues in the dark. He's a funny bugger sometimes. Moments like that are gold.
So I didn't have a very good night's sleep. Because I couldn't breathe through my nose (until someone finally showed me how!) my mouth was dry and I kept having to get up for water. Eventually I filled a jug and brought it in. I went back to sleep but was woken by the phone ringing. It's a rainy day so I'll be trying to get washing dried and cleaning this tip up.
We can't go to our counselling tomorrow because Phill needs the car. Can't be helped, one of the drawbacks of living in a country town I guess.
My sisters are doing our family history, very slowly, they've been doing it for twenty years or more on and off. My oldest sister rang me yesterday afternoon to say that the priest who either ministered to my late Aunt or conducted her funeral when she died from complications of diabetes aged 20 in 1941 was the same priest who taught my sisters at the Catholic school they attended. This was also the church in which I was baptised. Weird eh? And I was just talking about baptism yesterday. The documentation she got also tells us where my Grandmother on Dad's side is buried. She died very young in childbirth when Dad was only about five. So sad. We've decided next time I am in Sydney we will go and visit her grave at Rookwood. This is something that had never occurred to me before but it's something I'd really like to do. Even though I never knew her, I always missed her because the woman my grandfather later married wasn't a very nice person and certainly not a grandmother to us in any way.
I don't even know if I have a car today, must check the garage, if not I'll just have a shower and put a clean pair of pjs on I think.

Those moments when our husbands make us laugh are priceless aren't they. Good sense of humor is as important as any other trait he could bring to the table.
B requested that he have a pj day these school holidays.
Its lucky husbands can be funny sometimes otherwise the joke would really be on us.
Hmm men and boys are just hilarious aren't they? We have had quite a few moments ourselves this week. :-)
My aunt showed me a good trick for breathing one day. You place your fingers on either side of your nose right on the cheek bones and pull the face outwards then take a big breathe, its amazing how much it opens the airways. I have to admit though my first reaction is to reach for the vicks! LOL
Family trees are fascinating. I don't have the time but one of my aunts and cousins has most of ours.
I can't make it thru a day with out my 2 allergy and asthma inhalers and sprays..but they sure do work
That's PillowTalk 101 at it's BEST! :0)
I can picture the scene and it makes me grin.
