Finally got some photos to upload, the wireless is a bit slow but pretty good compared to some other places we've stayed.
Phill got home late last night but we were still up so we spent some time with him telling him about our trip up. Got up this morning and went down to the town while our room was cleaned (love that!). We went shopping and the kids got foam water pistols for the pool and we got some clothes, I got a $6 nightie! They're the soft t shirt types that I love, Em wouldn't have one but when she saw me in mine tonight decided she wants one too. Might get a couple more at that price.
Then Phill took us for lunch at an "all you can eat" restaurant above the ex servo's club. I don't usually like those types of places because of the types of people you tend to get there, gluttony makes me sick. But this was really nice, the quality of the food was excellent and the variety was really good. And the piggy people didn't show up till we were leaving. ;) Kids played the chocolate machine and won a bit.
We did some washing and went back into town to the big park and saw the ducks in the lake. There was a carnival there too and later I took the kids down, they did the bumper cars but then Josh chucked a wobbly and we came back got dinner, KFC, and now we're settling in for the night. So nice to just spend some time with each other away from all the problems of home.
It's Earth Hour day, we do it every year. It's when everyone turns off all their electrics for an hour. We went to this great Lifeline op shop this morning and I got two candle holders and a pack of white taper candles.
This one is really cute, see the gumnuts?
My crazy kids bringing their swimming gear in from the line, they're off for an after dinner swim and I just might join them after I watch the news headlines.
Not sure what we'll do tomorrow, Phill won't be home until night.

Looks like you are all having fun. Its STILL raining here although it is not supposed to today. LOL
We went out for dinner last night and were placed at a table next to 12 teenagers and a family with three small kids. All behaved wonderfully, then four adults sat behind us and my goodness they were ridiculously loud. I feel sorry for who got our table when we left. Imagine after a few drinks they would have gotten worse.
I LOVE that candle holder, its beautiful!
Hugs and smoochies, enjoy the rest of your stay. xoxox
