What Fun!

We drove into Wagga and Josh chose his game.  Almost $100 for one game!  The people who make them would be set for life in that career.  We could have gotten it cheaper at department store but the card was for EB Games so we had to shop there.   We were headed to La Porcetta for lunch when Josh decided he wanted KFC instead.  Well it was his day, so the kids had that in the mall and Phill and I had a kebab each.  I was a little relieved, as we spent so much last week on bills and Christmas that we would have been left short with a restaurant bill.  Then we went to the Oasis swimming centre.  All the years we've lived in this area and we'd never been there.  I discovered that I'd left my memory card in my computer so couldn't take photos.  We got some video though.  It's a great place, the best part is the wave pool.  It has this huge rubber ball that is pumped up and down by the attendants and it makes these big waves.  It was really fun.  The kids wore themselves out and before we left Em and I went out and had a swim in the outdoor pool, the original pool and it was lovely and refreshing.  Josh ended up in there with us as well and we sat in the glorious sunshine for a while then came home.  Josh said he had a really great birthday.

Em and I iced his cake, she chopped up an Aero bar and we sprinkling it over the icing then smashed a couple of peppermint crisp bars with a hammer and poked the shards into the cake.  He was happy with it and it tasted great.
We had hot dogs for dinner and everyone slept like logs after all our swimming.
Washing machine stopped pumping today,  I'm hoping it's just a blockage or something, I'm leaving it for when Phill gets home from work.
The good news is that I got the stains out of Em's bedroom carpet.  That orange stuff is magic.
