We drove across to Burrinjuck Dam yesterday. Phill has been making noises about wanting to go fishing but of course has done no reseach and no planning so we just got in the car and went, taking basically just ourselves. So we got there, this place out in the middle of beautiful nowhere and all the kiosk had to offer was deep fried everything. Ugh, my own fault, I could easily have made sandwiches. Luckily my family are the Three Pigs and scoffed all the chips before I got too tempted but I did have some and they were horrible.
I made a WW salmon quiche for dinner and just had that and some yoghurt and fruit later. Lesson learned. The state park was quite good, they have cottages and cabins and better facilities than some we've been to. We talked about coming back and staying but we won't unless I do all the planning, booking etc. Which I won't. I'm a bit old for roughing it these days, unless it's really roughing it in a tent on a riverbank with just a fire for cooking, now THAT I could go for. When it's warm. If it ever gets warm.
Damn and I packed my aqua tent too.
...but where do the tent pegs go?
Now there's a comfy campsite!
Much to do today which is good, it might warm me up a bit!

I think you jinxed us yesterday, it got really cold by last night! It will get warm though, we are in for a very HOT summer this year! I can't wait to go camping, we are going in a couple of weeks, by a river in the rough, just me and Zak and some of our friends. Yay!
I've been seeing lots of kangaroos just like these two about the place - we never ever get to minus anything - brrr that is cold
