Things That Go Schosidfdls and Wooooooooo In the Night

Yes, he's overweight and the soft tissue in his throat causes him to snore etc etc, done all the research.  It's not my fault at all.  So why am I sitting out here at one am?  That and the howling winds and the relentless rain, and the cats thumping up and down the hall.............

Sorted the cats out, have them isolated and hopefully sleeping, not much I can do about the snoring and the weather though.  We had plans to drive to Wagga after we dropped Em at Julie's this morning but of course the idiots who take care of the work roster nixed that again.  And I won't be driving anywhere on my own.  I'll get the kids dropped off and come home, change into pjs, draw the curtains and catch up on some much needed sleep.  I'm suffering again from the ridiculous anxiety that has no base and not getting enough sleep isn't helping at all, if not actually contributing to it.  However it's Maccas night, promised the kids we'd do that once a fortnight so I'll take them up to Young after school for that.

Kate turns 21 in a few weeks.  I texted her to get her postal address as she has moved. No answer. No present I guess.

I found out that the "European Masters" exhibition will still be on at the National Gallery of Victoria when we're there in October so I got tickets to that for us.  I was quite the art lover back in the day and I'm so excited that we'll see some Manet, perhaps some Monet and lots of other stuff and I just hope the family will enjoy it as much as I will.  There is also some Fred Williams, some Arthur Streeton and some Frederick McCubbin on display in the main gallery.  Mary Poppins will have to wait till Sydney next year sometime, we just can't factor $400 plus into the holiday budget this time.  Just hope she's still practically perfect in every way.  Okay I'm typing out of extreme sleep deprivation now.

I love going to the Art galleries when in Melbourne and I love the classical stuff, which i consider McCubbin and crew...not much time for abstract art
