Funny that I just answered a poll thingy about whether I could go back to life before the internet and I said "YES". Life wasn't bad, life was good, simple. I looked stuff up in dictionaries, at the library, I got recipes out of paper books that I owned, or borrowed. I talked to my sisters on the telephone. Yep it was all good.
SOMEBODY caused the payment for our net access to go unpaid. We are getting to stage of being totally unravelled financially but that is another story. I asked him to please phone the ISP and arrange payment but he assumed they would just "go in again" for the $$$. They didn't and we got cut off. He was blase. I was furious and he was about to go away again for God knows how long. The motel he is staying in has wireless broadband. I got abused for being pissed off. I removed the battery from his laptop before replacing it in the bag just before he left. I know, I know......so childish. But if we were without net access then so was he.
Um we have it back now, clearly. And I don't feel guilty. Nope not at all.
