Did I say Discipline?

Where did the day go?  I have spent most of the day writing and I am totally into it now and loving it.  I'm weaving the facts with some interesting stories about our family, concentrating on my grandparents and parents right now.

The discipline now will be making sure I take care of my responsibilities as well!  I'm making good progress and am happy with what I've done so far.  It's so easy, doing it on Blogger, easy to edit and move things around.

That is Josh's merit that made me so proud this morning.

This is the mug that the Womans Day gave away for Mothers' Day.  It turned out really well and they say it's dishwasher safe but I'm not taking any chances.  The text reads "My Heart".

So I've set up camp at my desk here in the loungeroom so at least I can write with the family around me and I can have all the papers and stuff I need stored in the drawers rather than messily strewed over my bed.  My desk is right under the front window and I have a really nice view of the front garden.

My sister and I decided we're going to plan a family get together for November or early December.  A couple of years ago we all got together down on the south coast for Mum's 80th and we all had such a good time that we agreed we'd do it more often.  Of course life got in the way and we haven't, although we've gathered since for my 50th and my other sister's 60th but to have a whole weekend will be great.  We always have so much fun when we are together and I'm learning that we need to do these things sooner rather than later as we really don't know what is around the corner for any of us.
