And Still the Rain Falls

We're on a hill and our backyard is sodden!

It's been raining pretty much solidly for a week now, the news last night said that 75% of NSW is in flood.  There are evacuation orders for areas near Wagga, The Rock and Lockhart included.
Our creek was down under the metre mark yesterday morning when I drove down town but it rained steadily all day and night and I daresay it will be up again when I go out later.  I had to dry all the groceries when I got home, they got soaked just from putting them into and out of the boot of the car.
I am thankful that we live high on the hill, for my warm dry house and my near new clothes dryer!
I woke up this morning with a sore arm, par for the course I'm pretty sure it's arthritis, but also sore around the upper body which I put down to aches and pains until I realised it wasn't that type of pain, it was me feeling my workout yesterday and my weights!  That is good pain.
We had healthy burgers for dinner last night.  I caramelised some red onions with just cooking spray and just a little balsamic glaze.  Grated carrot and zucchini into the meat and just used an egg white to bind it with lots of spices.
I'm going to roast a little free range chicken tonight, stuffed with just half a lemon and fresh herbs from the (waterlogged) garden.  I'll do some dry roasted potato and pumpkin and lots of fresh vegies.  I found and converted a Pineapple Upside Down Muffin recipe which I'll make for dessert with custard.  It's that sort of weather.
I made a big pot of vegie soup yesterday for my zero point lunches for the week.  Based it on the Tomato and Pumpkin soup recipe but added half a cauliflower, and a sliced leek, about four cloves of garlic and some chilli flakes.  I'll blend it all up today and divide into freezer containers and freeze.
Phill has gone to work, so I am planning a pampering day.  I'll put an oil/vinegar treatment on my woolly hair, have a foot spa and pedicure and do my fingernails as well.  I will do my 30 minute (or more) Wii Fit workout, thank goodness for that while walking is out of the question with all the rain.
Counting down the days now until our mini holiday on the coast with my mum and sisters, my daughter, son in law and grandson and my nephews and their families.  I don't even care if it's still raining, we're still going to have a great time, we always do when we all get together.
Well this has taken me a couple of hours and it's still raining......

Your doing so good about eating and exercise-me no, I'm not being good at all. Still not eating well-a little better, no energy to exercise yet.

Trish, I fixed the problems I was having with Woma to Woman and the security is back on, also (and you can say no) I madw you and Jackie(YDG) so you can go to parts of the forum where others can't and that way if you see where someone has wrote something mean or hurtful on the forum you can erase it, you also can control if someone gets blocked-only if their causing trouble etc. I trust you, I like your morals and I think your awesome and thats why I'm hoping you'll do this. Let me know if your mad at me. I love ishityounot too but feel like shes going through so much right now.
