It Had to Happen

I shut my old blog down because of some nasty "invisible" lurkers and while it wouldn't be too hard for anyone to find me on here I felt a bit safer to be more free with what I write.  Looks like someone's telling tales out of school to people I would really rather didn't know.  Honestly these people need to get a life.
I'm not shutting this down, I enjoy blogging and I feel it helps me.  I am by nature a "spillguts" I let it all out and wear my heart on my sleeve etc etc.  I will just have to be a bit more careful what I write.  I have deactivated my Facebook accounts, I'll just have to trust that Emily will behave herself.  Some of stuff she posts on there embarrasses me anyway, and I'd rather not know while there's little I can do about it.  I really do find FB a very unsatisfactory way of communicating given the short bursts of comment and people who post shit that doesn't make any sense.
Sad rainy day today, just got the basics done and I'm making hamburgers for dinner, laced with puree broccoli and carrot, the kids haven't had any vegies lately.
Rain is good but not today. :(

Facebook is a scary place. I have been amazed at how people can 'find' you even if your profile is private.

Sorry to hear you've had some unpleasantness.

If you are feeling stifled on here, you could delete it and start over inviting those followers whom you trust and not letting anyone else know you've got another blog. I did it and within a week had all my old followers back and many new ones : )

(((HUGS LOVELY))) I occasionally think of dropping facebook again but found it easier to just delete the people off there who were negative all the time. I mostly see postive comments thankfully AND a few weird ones I guess.

As for the blogging, I wonder at times who reads my blog besides the people that comment and even some of the followers I have no idea who they are. I really don't understand why someone would take the time to follow your blog and never talk to you. Odd.

Don't shut down again, if you feel exposed just go into your settings and choose the invite only option. Then you can just invite all of us that you don't mind reading.

my grandfather taught me that when I was about 8 years old..

If I had to shut down my blog, I'd be heart broken..all my friends are there.

I agree with you re facebook - but also in here as you know some nasty rellos of mine trawled through mine and caused a lot of problems - Sometimes i would really love to spill my guts as well and i do talk about many things but refrain from talking about those particular nasties - please don't shut down - may only visit once a week but I love hearing about your family

ugh, ugh and ugh.
I've told you why I over edit myself- it isn't any fun at all. I do wish people would just leave us alone, we need our sanity.
