Emily stayed in her room all day, last time I checked she was sleeping but then the beast awoke and was farting around on Facebook. Curse Telstra and their free FB with no need for phone credit.
Then my little ray of sunshine came home from school. Happy! He got changed from Ag to another subject that sounds like the old Commerce but with a different name and different components. The counsellor got this done for him as he was acting up in class and got sent to the head teacher who sent him to her. She is a wonderful woman, so kind to Josh. He saw her again today, she sought him out to see how he was, and she gave him some good advice which he actually took on board and acted on. He is good like that, he will listen if you talk to him calmly and gently. She told him he needs to be more outgoing and not to worry about what people think of him. Josh has the best sense of humour and he told me that today he made a lot of people laugh. What a kid. But like I can't take the blame for Emily, I can't take too much credit for my son. He is what he is, and what he is is terrific.
I was reading Dark Mother's blog entry from back in January and followed her lead with a lavender bath, didn't have any lavender soap but rubbed my essential oil on a normal bar. Anointed a candle with some put some in my hair and immersed my whole body in the water and lay in the darkened bathroom watching the candle flicker and counting my blessings. I felt better and had the need to come outside. I still have dinner to cook but I'm sitting out at the table in the backyard and although it's hot, it's lovely. I can hear the splashing of the pumps in the fish tank, and crickets. No birds, I guess they're all getting ready to roost for the night. A distant engine but other than that, peace and quiet.
I did a simple candle ritual for luck for Phill's job. I am clumsy when it comes to rituals but my heart is in it. Once when we were really struggling I did a money spell. We won two substantial amounts of money, one on Lotto and one at the club. I only do that type of stuff when I truly need to, but whatever your beliefs, it does no harm to light a candle and set it up nicely in the correct manner.
We still didn't get paid, turns out it was a stuff up at the Melbourne pay office. Idiots. I could write a book about the incompetency of the rail companies we've worked for over the years.
Emily tried to back pedal as usual and sent me an "I love you" message. I'm not ready to talk to her or face her. She doesn't realise that words hurt, and she hurts me. A lot.
Crap. I think I got lavender oil in my eye.

tell her she hurts your feelings..your not just a mommie..your a human being..sigh*..kids...can't live with them, cant' kill them.
You got THAT right!
If I got down into a tub, I could never get myself up and out again. LOL at that sight in my minds eye.
The spectacle of me getting out of the back seat of my sons two door car was another sight to behold.
After many attempts of trying to get out ...I got down on the floor on my knees and backed my ASS out. :0)
I'm waiting to see myself on America's Funniest Videos. :0(
I'm happy to hear the bath helped you a bit. Repeat if necessary : )
Oh God its hard being the mother of mid teen daughter - give me any time but that!
